I like big flower blooms, my mom’s excessive use of butter, humidity, eating smitty's bbq with my most favorite person (after already eating at 2 other bbq joints on the way there), my brother in law’s fried wild turkey pop ‘ems and venison sausage pinwheels with backyard Muscadine grape jam, swimming on Christmas day, people that bring you casseroles when you’re down, driving 2 and half hours for a doe's steak, flat land, early morning fishing trips in my dad’s Bass Tracker, and fried catfish Fridays with my grannie.
I am a southerner far from home, but at least I have biscuits.
